What we collect
When you join the kitspot waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you choose to share them, your phone number, where you are based, the ways you are interested in kitspot, and any message you choose to send. We also record whether you joined from kitspot.co or our PLASA link. If you create an account, our sign-in service stores your email and sign-in credentials, and we record your account identity and relevant invitations. Private Inventory records include entered maker/model, optional serials, Catalogue links, active or retired status, original registration details and changes. We also keep command, matching-evidence, permission and private duplicate records for these operations.
Why we use it
We use waitlist information to understand early interest in kitspot and to contact you about early access, product updates, or a relevant follow-up to your message. Account information supports sign-in, recovery and invitations. Inventory information lets you record and manage your physical gear. Approved admins can apply verified exact Catalogue matches. Missing-product research uses entered maker/model requests, reviewed for private details before manual transfer.
How we keep it
Waitlist details are stored in our access-controlled database. We do not sell your personal information. We keep it only for as long as it is useful for the waitlist and early product communications, or as required by law. To limit automated waitlist submissions, we use protected identifiers derived from your email and network address with temporary submission counters. We periodically delete expired counters, starting one day after expiry. Account and Inventory access is restricted to the owner and authorised operations. Retiring an Inventory unit retains its record and history; it does not delete your account or its data.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information, or ask us to stop contacting you. For questions about your account or Inventory data, including personal-data export or deletion requests, email privacy@kitspot.co. We also recognise requests received through other valid contact channels.
Who is responsible
kitspot Ltd is responsible for the information described in this policy. Our CTO is responsible for the privacy contact and handles personal-data requests. If our use of your information concerns you, please contact us first so we can help.
